Film Casting

An independent film maker is casting the lead role for their latest project:

The main purpose is academic, to learn and to polish the film making skills. I have done a short film a couple of years back. It was pretty well received for a first time effort. We featured it in 4 film festivals. Got nominated in best film category in one Fest, won a best cinematography award in the other one.

We want the Lead Actor - Preferably Middle-eastern looking guy. 26 + years old.
We have to shoot 1-1/2 days
Location : House - We will need to shoot a full day. From Morning till late evening - The Opening scene and the entire Chat sequences
Location : Al Qasba & House Next day afternoon- Al Qasba outdoor sequence and back in the house for flash back scenes.

We plan to shoot during weekends. Best would be to do it on a Friday and Saturday. We would want to shoot coming week - 24-25th April 2009.

Please note that the Actor do not have to learn all the lines. Majority of the movie is a chat/Voice over. For the chat we have developed this software which types in all the chat. the actor only needs to press whatever keys and press enter, it will automatically display the texts as per the script. This allows the actor to concentrate on giving the correct action and reactions rather than think about the lines.
