Casting Call!
Two Dutch artists are looking for actors for their City Portrait project. A city portait will exist out of 24 one-minute films, all of them focussing on different aspects of the city. The city portraits (http://www.cityoneminutes.org) are an initiative from the Dutch-based One Minute foundation and will be shown during the Shanghai World Expo.
Essentially this means they will have many small parts to fill. The roles will be partly derived from existing scenes (monologues and dialogues) from (Hollywood) movies.
They have expressed an interest in a number of the actors on our website, but are interested in meeting all of those who may be interested. Also let them know of any other talents such as singing etc. The meetings will take place on Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening from 6 PM to 9 PM in the Basta Art cafe in Bastakia Quarter. They will do a small interview and maybe some coldreading.
The interviews will be scheduled, so please contact Margit directly to make an appointment to see the, The interview would not be more then 30 minutes.
We would shoot the scenes Friday and Saturday. Since it's a cultural institution everything is done on a very tight budget there will be a small fee.
If there's people who would like to audition but can't make it during the proposed time we could arrange another time/location.
Interested actors, please contact Margit at (0) 50 9707456.
